Croquet Performance Plays

The Long Arms of Jupiter
The Long Arms of Jupiter is an interactive game-as-performance piece designed for a minimum of 6 and an unlimited maximum number of participants, as audience members serve as members of the Chorus. The Chorus responds to the strokes of the players, and chants and sings accordingly, under the direction of Chorus Masters. The piece takes advantage of the laws of random chance in telling its story.
If the event is planned for more than 35 participants, and additional croquet sets can be found, and there is adequate space to set up additional croquet fields, then the event can be done with several groups playing and chanting and singing simultaneously on a large field.
